Snow in Charlotte!

Our first snow this season, and it was a good one! Thankfully I had just bought the girls new winter coats on Black Friday, and snow gloves, hats, and scarves. Everything but the coats were wrapped and under the tree, so they were able to open a present early!

We canceled our dinner plans and the girls went out just before dark to play in the snow. In NC it doesn't stay around long, so you have to play while you can. The next morning there was still snow, and plenty of it, so the girls played with the Morales in the snow for hours.

Snow in NC...

Short, but sweet. The girls were surprised to wake up and find snow outside their window. I heard Ashlyn first. They were quickly dressed and out the door. They only lasted out there about 20 minutes, since we only have knit gloves at our house. They enjoyed themselves and event tried to sneak a bag of snow by me to bring inside. They thought they'd save some for later, I suppose.

Snow Day!

I'm a little late, but we did have a snow day about 2 weeks ago. But, by the time we were up, it was raining pretty hard, so we were just able to look at it! We still enjoyed some hot cocoa. The girls were having a "best friends" day....
